Rouyn-Noranda, September 18, 2024 – We are delighted to announce the companies from the Export Gala in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
Four companies from Abitibi-Témiscamingue have distinguished themselves by developing new markets and have won the prestigious MercadOr Awards for the regional category, thus recognizing excellence in exportation.
This year’s winners are:
TrueRC Canada, for its sustained growth in exportation.
P.L.C. Inc., recognized as the leader in exportation in the resource region.
Monuments Gibson, for its market diversification.
Traditium, as a new exporter.
Over the past few weeks, our marketing and export advisor, Mr. Raphael Piché, along with Mr. Jean-Francois Normand, Director of International Services Development at Desjardins Entreprises, visited these companies. The purpose of these visits was to understand their realities, highlight their achievements, and share their experiences. These companies will have the opportunity to represent our region at the Mercador Quebec Gala in Levis on November 14, 2024. We look forward to celebrating their success and continuing to support exportation in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Initiated in 1999 by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Quebec, the MercadOr Gala recognizes the efforts and successes of exporting companies from a regional perspective. Taken over by several regional export promotion organizations (ORPEX), this recognition and appreciation event has become a must in certain regions over time. Since 2018, Commerce International Québec, the ORPEX network, has been proud to offer Quebec entrepreneurs a national edition of MercadOr Québec.
