Rouyn-Noranda, November 26, 2024 – 48e Nord International announces its new board of directors for the coming year, including a new president and executive council.

During their last board meeting, the directors appointed a new president following the thoughtful decision of the outgoing president, Mr. Daniel Misiano, to step down for ideological and strategic reasons: “I am an entrepreneur from Val-d’Or, a local guy. However, I no longer feel legitimate to represent the region’s SMEs with my recent departure from MBI Global. This decision was difficult to make, especially since I had just been re-elected for a new term as administrator.”

Mr. Daniel Misiano, who will continue his mandate, will now assume the role of administrator on the board of directors. We wish to express our gratitude to him, who since 2021 has shown excellent leadership, great dedication, and invaluable contribution that has guided the organization exemplary, especially during the pandemic and the general management change in 2022.

The directors have chosen Mr. Éric Beaupré as the new President of the Board of Directors of 48e Nord International, CEO of Technosub, an exporting SME based in Rouyn-Noranda. A dedicated member since 2015, Mr. Beaupré, as CEO of Technosub, brings extensive experience and expertise. His know-how in management, strategic planning, marketing, and business development, both in Canada and internationally, is invaluable.

Under his leadership, Technosub has experienced significant growth and strengthened its position in the mining sector. Mr. Beaupré actively participated in the organization’s most recent strategic planning. Éric Beaupré is a respected leader and experienced manager, whose contributions have had a significant impact on his company and the local community.

He held the position of Vice-President, which he now hands over to Ms. Nancy Boucher. Ms. Boucher has co-founded and managed several businesses, including the Café Bistro Van Houtte in Rouyn-Noranda and the AÉROFORME Fitness Center. Since 2017, she has been the general manager, co-owner, and co-founder of Squizz Distributions, an exporting company representing the agri-food sector that exports products loved beyond Quebec’s borders.
